Midnight Lightning Original Demos
(Studio outtakes 68-70)

This boot comes from an 25 years old cassette provided by Mikesline . Mikes converted the recording to a single flac file and I used audacity to separate into tracks.
The artwork is by Mikesline.
Many thanks to you Mikes.

This was first released on bootleg LP:
James Marshall: Midnight Lightning

and later re-issued on CD as:
Moons and Rainbows

Thanks a great deal for this. I've had the original Midnight Lightning record for what, over 30 years or whatever, and probably played it as much or more than the regular releases. Love those songs.

I checked the torrent and it's definitely a transfer of the LP 'James Marshall: Midnight Lightning'. Unfortunately it's been done long ago, most probably with rudimentary equipment because the sound is very thin with lot of hiss. It would be nice if someone could do the proper transfer of this otherwise very nice bootleg LP.

...or maybe post the "Moons and Rainbows" CD?

Thanks Armel. I have this on vinyl, and have never played it (as I don't have a record player.) My days at Portabello Road ! So if anyone's interested, give me a shout.
