Notes:

This material was recorded at Jimi's house on Traver Hollow Road, Shokan sometime between July and September in 1969. These tracks are usually referred to as 'The Woodstock Rehearsals.' There are are other tracks from these sessions in circulation, some having little or no involvement by Jimi.

Any chance somebody could hit start on their torrent of this one, I need less than 1% to complete!

Checking the peer list I see I've been waiting patiently for 570:25:01!

TIA

Still waiting for that last fraction of 1% to finish this one off.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Seems I downloaded this one at one point, listened through it and discarded it after some time, back when I needed the space I then had for more high prioritized material. So sorry, can't be of any help here unfortunately...

This material was recorded at Jimi's house on Traver Hollow Road, Shokan .

Just in case someone goes looking for it, it's:

Ashokan House, Traver Hollow Rd, Boiceville (hamlet), Town of Olive, Ulster Co. N.Y.

Juma (had/has a farm near Woodstock) refers to it on video as "up in Boiceville"

There is no Traver Hollow Rd in the hamlet of Shokan, Town of Olive, Ulster Co. N.Y. and the house is not there, (neither is it in Phoenicia, Liberty or Woodstock).

Please take a moment to check out my project! It's a documentary about Drummer Randy Kaye. Randy played in The Gypsy Sun Rainbows Band before the Woodstock festival. Randy was fired by Mr. Hendrix's managers along with an entire horn section before the festival because they didn't really like or understand the music and where Jimi wanted to take it from what I can understand. Mr. Hendrix was more interested in playing with the great jazz musicians of the day. Mr. Kaye had had a reputation on the NYC scene at the time having played with such notables as Roland Kirk,Sam Rivers,Kenny Dorham,Enrico Rava,Tony Scott,Perry Robinson, and the list goes on. The fact of Mr. Kaye's involvement with the Gypsy Sun Rainbow band has been confirmed by Mr. Juma Sultan in an interview. It is actually my belief that it is indeed Randy Kaye on the track "Sundance" as this was the period Randy was with Hendrix and quite frankly Mitch Mitchell would never think to play anything that mellow or restrained. The musicians who knew Randy and played with him swear it is him as well. In the scheme of things and considering Mr. Hendrix's relatively short career I believe Randy Kaye deserves his due along all the other musicians that Jimi "jammed" with.
