Source: Dime post by unclewolfi - thanks !!

Lineage: hotbird sat > nexus-s > hdd > nero wave editor > flac
(hotbird sat uses MPEG1 Layer 2/256 kbps)

Changes made (Nero7):
-------------------------
Corrected small phase offset by shifting left channel -0.03msec
Cross-mixed all tracks (ratio 97:3)
Applied slight EQ, bass +1dB, treble +3dB
Fixed short glitches during applause on tr02 and tr03
Note: the last track appears to be a different mix and lineage

Quality: A++, except last track A+
--------------------------------------

I've never come across a hotbird recording that needed any work before , but this one did not have
the usual clarity and dynamic impact, so I did a little work (details above) and it now sounds
great, with Bourelly's guitar more forward in the soundfield, vocals more distinct and Gibbs'
bass has a bit more punch, so grab it and...

...Enjoy

My first upload, I am having trouble finding Hendrix that is not already on the tracker. This is from the DIME tracker awhile back.

But I have been listening to Jean-paul Bourelly's Tribute to Hendrix on Koch and he really catches the flavor. Anyway, its what I know I can post and I want to contribute something.
I am also upping this at my blog: Kinebeeszounds.blogspot.com

I keep getting..rejected by tracker...unregistered torrent.:(

When I create a new torrent it says..You must disable decentralized tracking on this torrent. Whaaat?

I am using u-torrent with the correct announcement addy.I really do not get this.

when you are are making the torrent there must be some checkbox somewhere asking for DHT (decentralized trackin) or no DHT. Maybe in the advanced seetings...I am not using utorrent so I just donīt know, but thatīs what itīs about...
you want to do it without DHT...

thanks olvator.
But I went in and disabled DHT and get the same pop-up. Then when I dl from the site the torrent reads rejected by tracked unregistered torrent pass.

I have upped over 1.19 Tb @ dime, with never an issue. I just don't get it. I really don't want to install a new torrent client just so I can run torrents here (although I got a lot of stuff I could add). What are you using to create torrents?

Please, just pull this post. I will attempt to get my ratio up by tagging into anything new that comes up.

Don't worry about your ratio, I donated you 5 gig and upped your ratio to a 2.95 positive. It's a hassle to come in as a newbie tryin to squeeze up the ratio and not end up on the bad side of the ratio regulations. Call me a ratio Florence Nightingale, I will step in on behalf of those who (in my subjective view) deserve it...

Ok, I know its not ideal...but I upped this to my blog:

http://kinebeeszounds.blogspot.com/

there's some other loss less stuff too, even a few Hendrix things. (please NOT to steal crosstowns thunder) but...if your ratio challenged, or just curious about jean-paul have a look.

aloha.

And again thank you!:thayou219bl::bananasmile:

oh..and I guess I can break down and install a new torrent client....U- torrent (and I refuse upgrades from my old WORKING version) will not shut off "open torrents". ah well.

anyway..what working for others?
