Anyone able to tell me why EH hasnt released this on vinyl? seems odd that the mans greatest masterpiece hasnt been given the licorice pizza treatment.

I've wonder that myself. Almost every other album has been released
once and in some cases twice on vinyl, with Woodstock on it's fourth
time around. Even the Noel Redding: Sessions album has been released
on vinyl twice. I thought ELL would come out last year for the 40th
anniversary, but no go. All I could think is with all the studio outtakes
from that time period they are holding on to it to release some kind of ELL
sessions boxset in the future. May be wishful thinking though.

There is no shortage of things not happening at EH! But plenty of odd things going on.

EH will be releasing Jimi's first 3 three albums in a limited edition 8 track set along with a special LP set which plays at 78 speed. CALL NOW, OPERATORS STANDING BY TO TAKE YOUR CALL at Recycle Retread Records formerly EH. Their motto is: "keep buying the same ole thing over and over and over again"-- NOW That is a powerful Mission Statement!

They did put it out in the nineties (1996?) so must be out of print... Hope they'll do an "all analog" edition like Axis.
I never got the point in releasing a vinyl digitally remastered...

... I never got the point in releasing a vinyl digitally remastered...Agreed, an oxymoron if ever there was one.

I guess Janie was too busy lying about RAH to release it.
