Hi,

I thought I'd start a personal page. I sometimes have things to share with you which do not fit on other threads. Also, I find this easier than dropping the news/info all over the place. Maybe I should read the CTT Book For Dummies ;-)

Anyway, to start this thread I wonder if any of you have a Twitter and/or a Myspace. If so, let me know so we can connect. I have both now myself, both are Hendrix related, of course.

I have just started the Myspace and am still setting it up [with the help of my daughter]. My intentions are to use the Myspace as a sort of platform for news and photos etc. and to connect with other Hendrix fans. Not sure how it will work out, but interesting to see where it will take me.

Although I will still be involved here at CTT, I was looking for a place of my own which would allow me more freedom to do my own thang.

Please contact me if you are a Twitter or Myspacer.

Cheers,

Enemal.

Hi,

I received this interesting email from a UK collector:

I had a chance to buy a shoulder bag owned by Hendrix a few years ago and passed it up at £750 (he was photographed wearing it I later found out). Whoever bought it also found a personal item of Jimi's hidden inside it !!

Whoops.

I did some photos for Keith Emerson a few years ago - he told that that in 1967 - when he was touring with The Nice & JH Experience - Jimi used to make 8mm porn films and project them on the dressing room wall !

Anyone heard this before?

Cheers,

Enemal.

Hi Enemal

I added you on Twitter already. Good luck with your Jimi Hendrix page on MySpace. Good luck with the book, too. Peace.

Hi Rob,

Thanks. I spent all day checking these sites out, but it's very hard to figure out which has the best interface for my taste. Twitter is OK [just for short bits]. I have set up also a Myspace page, but it doesn't look very professional, very childish with all these smilies. ;-)

I'm now setting up a Facebook; that seems to have a more sophisticated look and feel. I also saw a lot of old friends on Facebook, so maybe that is more my cup of tea. We'll see.

Cheers,

Enemal.

Hi,

No Jimi connection this time, although, maybe just a bit.

This time 2 proofsheets of Traffic with Stevie Winwood and Dave Mason, and John Mayall band with John Hiseman and Dick Heckstall-Smith, live at the Moster Concert in Zürich, Switzerland, May 1968. They were the support acts for headliner Jimi Hendrix.

Please pass this on to any Mayall or Traffic fans/collectors!

Cheers,

Enemal.

I always thought "Traffic" to be the Perfect English Summer band.
