Lineage: Analog Master > Analog copy (?) > CDR(x) > Toast Titanum 8.0.1 to extract wav > wav > xAct 1.5b3 to convert to flac > flac
No accurate lineage info is available, but this is an upgrade of the previously torrented version of this tape. Here are some reasons for why you should download it (again):
1) The previously torrented version had a cut at the beginning of SCM. That cut is not present here.
2) The index marks are better positioned here.
3) .... and it's a great show that sounds even better this time around !!!
Reworked version of the previous artwork is included.

all your 3 torrents uploaded today do not work with the tracker, they all do work through DHT, which isnt allowed on this site.

when you create your torrent file check the 'private torrent' box.
dont allow DHT and peer exchange, and you'll be fine.

you can re-up new torrent-files to the threads you created, or leave it the way it is, which will result in the threads being deleted in a day or so.

this one has a clear strong bass, moreso than the other sources.
overall sound is pretty good too.

vinyl source on the left, this one on the right, would be your best bet for a new merge-project...... :-)

Nice. I won't promise any new merge but sounds interesting.
Could anybody seed this please.
There is one seeder, but the rate is 0..

Interesting! I've heard the 1st and 2nd sources merged. I've heard the 4th source that was uploaded here last year. But I think this will be my first time hearing this 3rd source. Sure would love to hear a merge of the best two or three!

Yes it is bassier. The vocals seem too distant. Seems a little noisy on the high end. But it might be good as part of a merge with appropriate eq'ing.

I agree. Here's the vinyl source. Somebody should do it up:

I agree ...Vinyl Rubber Dubber + 3 Source Upgrade would be a good merge..
looking at the date of these posts.....
was wondering if anyone has attempted it yet

Interesting project but this is crazy, those tapes are way out of sync.
I started with Spanish Castle Magic, no go
This is serious editing (seems impossible to me)
Maybe Vibratory can do it?

No accurate lineage info is available, but this is an upgrade of the previously torrented version of this tape.

Is this the source that has the recording of the taper and friends walking out of the venue? They pass a guy selling posters for $1 on their way and talk about whether their friends have left?

Yes, its that source.

henry (050)(grunn mien jong!): check out 'Silver Blue To Bloody Red vol. 2 (http://crosstowntorrents.org/showthread.php?1352-Silver-Blue-To-Bloody-Red-vol.2)' - its final tracks are a merge of this source on the right and the vinyl on the left. i did that years ago, and to me it sounds good. i agree there are 'issues' with the sources which prevented me from ever finishing that concert-merge.

Yes a new merge is a lot of work, but it does have potential though..

Yes, its that source.

Okay didn't know if this was in circulation but as it is... The lineage on this looks messed up. This recording was found by a collector in LA (sometime around 2000 if memory serves) and a couple of DAT copies were made from the master. There was _no_ analog transfer done from the master. I was sent a DAT transfer from the (think it was cassette) master by the guy who found it. So my DAT copy of this has a known lineage of Master recording >DAT. I also have the 2nd source (far source) from the master cassette with the same lineage of Master recording > DAT.

would be lovely if you could share that one as well....
