Dave Mason w/Mike Finnegan?!

Maybe this is old news to some of you, but I only just learned that in the 70's Dave Mason and Mike Finnegan teamed up. Two of Jimi's sidemen together! And there's a live lp called "Certifed Live" where you can hear them play "All Along the Watchtower" together! Mike Finnegan even sings on the blues "Goin' Down Slow".

I only just learned this because I happened to snag a 1976 Dave Mason show from Dime where Dave introduces Mike's vocal feature saying "This is from our live album!"

I guess I'm pretty late to this party, but Mason was definitely wailing Jimi style on guitar and the whole show is very funky and musically emjoyable.

and Jim Krieger was the guitarist, who was excellent. That lineup was the BEST!!!

And Finnegan was Stephen Stills' regular keyboard player for many years, so that's another Jimi connection.
