Subject: TWO INCH MASTERS
AFTER the One Inch Masters came another, 2nd of the series,
ENTITLED "A Sea Of Forgotten Teardrops..."
NOW comes the third set in this series, which is
TWO INCH MASTERS 23 Jan 1970
All the sessions from THAT date apart from the complete Villanova Jam
which runs upwards of 27 minutes, (27.37? from the much vaunted Raw Blues set),
and the two, so far unreleased other JAMS of that date..
Here is the track listing OF THESE AUDIO discs.
SEE NOTES AT END. (There is a fourth set in the pipeline, but as yet no real details...)
DISC ONE
1 Villanova Junction. (14) 04:11
2 Ezy Rider (12) JAM/JAM/C.MIS T(7) 19:25
3 Edit of track 2. Starts 4 min later, runs to approx 14' mark of track 2. 09:45
4 Captain Coconut (2)/JAM. Runs to and includes Jimi asking
for broken string to be replaced. 06:21
5 Longer version of track 4.(2) (Flamenco intro)/ Cherokee Mist (11) 10:05
6 Heartbreak Hotel/Blue Suede Shoes (2) With added intro 13:58 .
Breaks In Tape (?) at ets 04.00 (?) 05:50 and 06:26
(Approx. 3 seconds ) FIRST 03.59 on LOOSE ENDS cd

TRACK ONE : SEE UV #45 p15 note
DISC TWO
1 Once I had a woman (1). Appears to be the same mix as (1)
but no fade out, runs to end. 08:18 no fade out..

Seven Dollars in my Pocket/Highway of Desire/M.Lightning (3)
23:09 FBTFSs times at 22.34
3 Country Blues (1)/Astro Man (5)/Solo Improvisation 10:41

Notes:
Apart from the COMPLETE Villanova Jam, Only two other tracks from the sessions at the Record Plant
on the 23rd January 1970 are known the exist, but are not available to complete this set.....
they are: Slow Time Blues & Burning Desire
