There are different editions of Hendrix albums. Which one sounds better?

Usually Japanese and German Polydor editions are considered the best.
However, it's all highly personal.
You'll have to decide that for yourself.
For example. just recently I've heard someone saying that Axis.Bold As Love
because of it's "primitive" panning techniques sounds dated in stereo and that mono version (vinyl only edition by Classic Records) sounds much better.
Not to my ears...
So, it's really for you to decide.
When music is in question, it's rarely a good idea to follow other people's advices. You can end up with a strong headache!

Are u talkin' about the original pre-EH releases or all releases including EH? I have all the japanese cardboard releases (as well as earlier ones) and I can't say that they sound any better than the EH/MCA releases - at least to my ears. That goes for German Polydor too. We are talking about CD's right? Because vinyl is a different story.........
