Where the hell am I gonna find that in my directory?
I'm going to need a new set of notes to refer to my original notes :D
That's just plain Lay-zee mate :nutkick6xi:
I'm at about 85% and had nothing better to do for a minute than to whine a bit at 'cha.

Hi, I (and possibly one other peer) are presently waiting on this to download, hoping some kind soul(s) will help out. And it looks like a keeper, too. Please, and thank you so much.

Jimi Hendrix had a tape-recorder, which he used to record his own sessions. There are reportedly hundreds of these tapes.

Yeah...but would he record inside the mixing room?

Probably not Jimi himself but rather an employee.

In 'From the Benjamin Franklin Studios' 2nd edition (1998) it says about this tape:

'This is one of several tapes in circulation that feature the overdub and mixing sessions of tracks that would eventually be included on the 'Cry of Love' album. It was allegedly recorded by an employee who connected a tape deck into the tannoy system which ran around Electric Lady studios and recorded Jimi working (presumably without his knowledge or consent). What we have here is a fly-on-the-wall insight into the session as the song is laid down with the guitar overdubs, including the reverse guitar sections.'

Whether it happened like this or not, I wouldnt know. Its a good story though ;-)

Total agreement, re: sound quality, some feculent shades to all that. In another copy I picked up here (thank you CTT!) I inserted some soft background noise of some or another color to give the effect of "unlistenable harshness throughout" let's say. But my connection cut out on me while I went on about what I love about this torrent and the music contained within. To me it is among my favorite Hendrix not considerable for release. I'm not risking losing this reply too, so thank you Voodoo Child and I forget the numerals; and to the seeders from whenever I DL'd, thank you for hooking me up with this great great stuff. Sound quality be damned! But how I came to Hendrix is my own explanation of how I would gladly come to ATM-002 here...
