That's a fake p'shop montage isn't it. Its not even Hendrix. He smashed that guitar the same day he painted it. Plus that's NOT his voodoo medallion but a look-a-like copy. Noicely done though, squire ;-) -

This was shot at the entrance to the famous Pike Street Market in Seattle. A place Jimi undoubtedly would have gone to in his youth. (although I've never heard it mentioned).
