    He/they got a hugely positive reception, it's clearly audible, in Paris, where Halliday was (at that time particularly)/is still a 'God' and that was surely a huge boost/"break" to a totally unknown...

    It is and was at the time actually just 'the Col' ballroom, so re-named after the Coliseum itself was knocked down, leaving just the ballroom - well before Jimi played there;)
