I'm listening to the 5.1 mix using my Platinum wireless Playstation Headset with virtual surround sound, with the bluray inserted into my Playstation 4.

I have noticed that Gypsy Eyes misses the...
  2. Re: Electric Ladyland sounds terrible!!! Needs remixing.

That's it!!! I can listen to the bluray on my PlayStation 4 using my PlayStation platinum headset which can output virtual surround sound.

The 2.0 mix on the bluray is the regular album mix. I notice that the 5.1 mix has extended endings on Long Hot Summer Night, Gypsy Eyes and Burning of the Midnight Lamp. The 2.0 mix on the bluray...

Well I think I finally had a wish come true. Eddie Kramer has made an excellent 5.1 surround sound mix! Too bad the home cinema set is defunct.

I bought the box. Too bad I removed the left rear and right rear speakers. These speakers were connected through an outdated (I think analog) wireless connection to the ancient home cinema set. They...

    Re: Royal Albert Hall

We will have to wait for the death of Goldstein. Maybe Goldstein's family members will be more forthcoming and they will strike a deal with Experience Hendrix and then we will finally see the Albert...

    Re: Studio '69 (Revision A + Upgrade 2005)

Disc 8 track 1 (jelly 292 2) has a glitch, the first few seconds where the volume is very low, then suddenly it returns to normal.

Disc 10 track 5 (Jungle Jam) has digital skips and clicks clearly...

    Re: STUDIO'70 Revision A

Disc 6 track 12 (Freedom - take 6 alternate mix 6-25-70) has digital errors (clicks and skips), likely copied from faulty cd(-r).
Disc 7 is entirely faulty, I hear clicks and skips all over. This IS...

Huge skips in the Astro Man Jam (Disc 6 track 6), first notable around 2:40. Unmistakably sourced from a faulty cd(-r).

Suspicious skips in disc 6 track 2 (Drifter’s Escape - With Echo 6-17-70).

I missed the boat on the newer collection. Don’t know where to find that one.

Track 2 of disc 5 (part 1) has some suspicious clicks. I suspect digital errors. The track is called Untitled Instrumentals 6-15-70.

    Re: STUDIO'70 Revision A

Track 4 of disc 4 (Midnight Lightning) is slightly incomplete. Around 25 seconds into the track there is a little skip. I think it is not a digital glitch.

    Re: STUDIO'70 Revision A

I'm listening to the complete set. I think I'm hearing digital errors in track 7 of disc 2 (part 2), the MLK jam. It happens during the last two minutes or so. It goes tsjk-tsjk-tsjk-tsjk. I think it...
  15. Re: 1970.09.03 KB Hallen Copenhagen Complete Sourceology

Source 5 has many clicks. I am willing to believe it is the tape, not digital errors.
  16. Re: 1970.09.03 KB Hallen Copenhagen Complete Sourceology

You're welcome, Johan. I have to admit I never listened to most of the torrents. I burned some on cd to listen to them, and this wears thin after a while. Listening with headphones on a pc is...
  17. Re: 1970.09.03 KB Hallen Copenhagen Complete Sourceology

I am completely listening to this torrent. I seem to hear some little missing bits between tracks in source 4, as if after or before each new track a bit of the tape is cut out. There is also a big...

Re: Short Stories (Moonshine / ATM 036/ 1CDR)

I listened to this torrent. I think it contains heavy digital errors, most notably during Wild Thing at Christmas on Earth Continued (track 15).
  19. Re: From The Benjamin Franklin Studios 2019 edition parts 1 & 2 now available

I bought bootlegs of Jimi Hendrix in a cd store in Ede in the Netherlands. That's where it started for me. I had no contacts with other traders. I always wondered where the guy of the cd store got...

I listened to ATM 127 (San Antonio). It has some nasty digital errors, especially starting from Message To Love.
  21. Re: Jimi Hendrix 1970-05-02 Madison WI (3rd source)

Right now I am making an effort to listen to all the torrents I've downloaded of Jimi Hendrix. I am working chronologically from start to finish, beginning with his concerts. This tape [1970-05-02...

    Re: 1969-01-11 Hamburg 2nd show

After listening to this torrent again, I think I am noticing some cd-skipping typical of damaged cd's, during the last two tracks. I could be wrong.

    Re: STUDIO'70 Revision A

I can't see the video. It is blocked in my country. My impression is that there is no piece cut out of the tape or no section edited out. Jimi simply replaced some verses with the guitar solo.

Re: The Electric Lady Mixing Sessions _ ATM 02

Jimi Hendrix had a tape-recorder, which he used to record his own sessions. There are reportedly hundreds of these tapes.
