This is considered to be the best source for the 24 February SB recording.

Tracks listed as on original artwork.

The discs have been checked and as far as can be made out there is no sign of any CD rot or digital glitches that have been found in previous rips from this set.

Low res scans of original ‘artwork’ included.

For further details you can do no better than to consult “In From The Storm”.

Yeah yeah thanks a lot for this rip!

Unfortunately the track titles are wrong, it slipped with one, since set starts with introduction, not with Lover Man.

Re: Royal Albert Hall. 24 February 1969. Feather Records

yeah first disc is incorrectly labelled, hence Sunshine of Your Love appearing as last track on it, and first track on disc two
    Is the microphone on?

Re: Royal Albert Hall. 24 February 1969. Feather Records

Many thanks! This would indeed seem to be a clean copy. Listened to both discs, couldn't hear any cdr rip / rot problems. I heard a couple of clicks on the 2nd disc but I compared these to another copy of the set and the noises were identical thus on the original files that Feather used for the discs.

I compared the tracks with the one version I have (The Last Experience (2002), 3 CD boxset, Charly Rec)
and find them very compressed, the dinamic range is about half of the one
found on my silvers... otherwise I find this Feather Records version quite fine,
and a tiny longer at the beginning, with tune up and announcements...

Thank you! I'm looking forward to hear this. So far I have had "Evening with...", I hope this is an upgrade. I'm working on doing a compilation "The Jimi Hendrix Concerts revisited" using alternate sources for the tracks, to have the songs complete and unedited, and without those horrible reverb and delay, and fake audience overdubs...
