    It looked and felt slightly glossy to me, definitely not the same matt as normal. The paper was in very good condition and it did not look like it was printed yellow, rather that it had yellowed due to age and it being of a different type of paper. That was my impression when I handled it recently.
    It being overprinted with yellow ink did not occur to me, of course if was different paper the sheet on the otherside would be of the same stock, which I did not check.
    A possibility is that if it was overprinted with yellow that may have been what gave the page it's glossy sheen?

    Mine is really just the usual paper, the other side is normal white. Maybe they printed a glossy one as well?

    Possibly, but unlikely. I'm still thinking it's possibly the effect of the ink on that copy I was looking at. I'll have another look sometime. Thanks for pointing out the weird yellow ink print - a bizarre idea - looks shit.
