Never seen some of the shots there, even in the most recent Fillmore East color videos update (the usual one with Fire, Stepping Stone and Ezy Rider).

I did quick search and found this: 09/18/70 C0013324 / COLOR NEW YORK CITY: FILE FOOTAGE ON JIMI HENDRIX: NXC 43606 "HENDRIX OBIT" SHOWS: INTRO JIMI HENDRIX (GIRL AT HIS SIDE): SOF Q&A HENDRIX: (SHOT FILE FOOTAGE 28FT) (NOTE - RECUT FROM C0005432) NEW YORK - BETHEL (FESTIVAL COMMENTED ON) MUSIC (FESTIVAL) NEW YORK , NEW YORK - HARLEM (FESTIVAL ANNOUNCED) HENDRIX, JIMI - SOF XX / 28 FT / 16 COL / POS / 240 FT / 16 COL / POS / CUTS /

    Unfortunately there's no preview available!

Different camera angle than the previous footage. This footage is not as tight of a shot. It's farther away and using a wider angle. I haven't seen the footage on here but is it as clear and with correct colour correction as this footage is shown?

BAND OF GYPSYS COLOR FILM FOOTAGE

    8 Minutes (Silent) http://www.footage.net/Search

Type "band of gypsys" into the search box. It's on the 2nd page.

Thanks for that link - the footage.net stuff comes from a site called Historic Films - having a look around there - I saw this - 01:01:03 HOST CURTIS KNIGHT WHO PLAYED WITH JIMI HENDRIX INTRODUCES SHOW TALKS ABOUT MEETING JIMI HENDRIX FOR THE FIRST TIME . SOME DISTORTION ON MASTER. CURTIS KNIGHT TALKS ABOUT THE FIRST TIME HE HEARD JIMI PLAY AND HOW INCREDIBLE IT WAS. TALKS ABOUT HIS GROUP CALLED THE SQUIRES WHICH WAS PLAYING CLUBS AT THE TIME. CURTIS AND JIMI PLAYED ALL THE CLUBS TOGETHER. STILL PHOTOS OF THE BAND PLAYING INTERSPERSED WITH CURTIS KNIGHT TALKING. HE TALKS ABOUT JIMI DISAPPEARING. JIMI HENDRIX HAD RUN OFF TO ENGLAND AND BECOME A STAR. THEN HE CALLED CURTIS ONCE HE'D BECOME A SUPERSTAR

Even though CK was totally unreliable, I have never seen this.

The extra search results point to the same footage from the reel. I managed to download it (with watermarks) - best quality I have seen...

If you mean the Band of Gypsys clips...
Yeah...download helper will 'grab' these in mp4....the 'clips' are in better quality, but that may be due to all the transferring and editing done to make the Whoopy Cat DVD
