    Question Who Does Background Vocals?

First live 'Hey Joe' I am aware of with the backing vocals ala studio version. What's the 411 on this?

Anyone? Have our hard-core, all-knowing, All-Things-Hendrix gurus, wizards & sages left the building?

Well according to the audio collections it the Breakaways..."Also featuring the Breakaways on background vocals"
this seems to be copied from one .txt file to another....whether it actually is the Breakaways backing track is unknown...
to me it doesn't sound like the original 'Hey Joe' backing track.
    from the below txt:
"Jimpress No93 has a full three page review of this audio and includes some other useful info' and photos/scans.

the above track was listed here about a week ago in this torrent:

Always assumed it would have been the 'Breakaways' as used on the single release ? but on listening again, it doesn't sound a polished performance, somewhere in the deep recess of my memory I'm sure I read Chas Chandler mention "grabbing the girls from the office to do an impromptu vocal" on something ? may have been referring to the BBC sessions though ? I'm afraid that's all I can offer you MS.

what about 'The Sweet Inspirations' (Aretha Franklin's backup singers)? Or did they come on the scene afterwards?
