    Cal Expo 1970-04-26 Footage

I guess a few folks already know about this...but just in case...
Just a pity it is in blue and pink...better than nothing though...

    What a surprise!

Here's the full story of the 16mm film Michael Jang sold to EH: http://ns2.metallifukinca.com/showth...=cal+expo+sold

I hope not all of the film is in pink! We're very unlucky with those who wanted to experiment and ruined the film, think about Manic Depression BBC Late Night Line up footage

In the clip there, he's playing the ending of Voodoo Child with his teeth and then exiting the stage. Just long enough for a re-sync!

Much more enjoyable played silently. If he screwed the whole film up with those effects no wonder EH has never used it. There is a fine line between art and stupidity.

To be fair, people at the time had no reason to think of such films as more than fun...

Absolutely. We're already beyond lucky to have as much Jimi as we do in terms of bootlegs, footage etc. Just that 20 second clip alone is priceless to me.
