    Framingham, Massachusetts - August 25th, 1968 recording

This is a show that appears to be recorded by a overhead stage microphone (like Woburn and Fehmarn), that I've never seen discussed or described in any lists of recorded shows.
As well as having a complete set list, the second sentence in the first paragraph alludes to the tape as well.

"August 25, 1968 – Jimi Hendrix Experience perform two shows at the Carousel Theater in Framingham, Massachusetts. Support act: Soft Machine.

    Set list: (first show)

    Johnny B. Goode
    Are You Experienced
    Hey Joe
    Sunshine of Your Love
    Foxy Lady
    Fire
    Purple Haze
    Star Spangled Banner
    Wild Thing

The Carousel was a somewhat small (approximately 1,000 seats) in-the-round setup, which meant those sitting behind the stage were blocked by the wall of amps.
In listening to tapes of the show, Hendrix continuously apologized for amp problems, but all reviews of the show praised the Experience performance.
Noel Redding wrote, “It was a nice show, we played in a circus tent to a good crowd.” The circus tent atmosphere probably is one reason Hendrix comically mimicked “Hey hey, we’re the Monkees,” as he broke into the “Star Spangled Banner/Wild Thing” medley.
After the concert, the Experience drives back to New York City. Redding recalled, “We had to drive back to New York afterwards as we were doing most of this section of the tour based there. We left about 1 a.m.
The driver was too stoned to drive. I was certainly to stoned to drive. Jimi could keep it together and I use that term loosely. He drove back to New York, taking five hours to do it, and borrowing my glasses in order to be able to see properly.
That was the first time I realized he needed glasses but just wouldn’t wear them.”
