I have just ordered it...
SEEDING 455 CTT TORRENTS
And just recieved it...
Not that many new pictures, but a heck of a cool one with Jimi playing guitar outdoor in his uniform together with an unknown (white) drummer. Also cool is a picture of Jimi from the Ninth grade yearbook...

They must mean me...![]()

Yeah, thanks CTT!
Hi Steve/lost archives, can I order the book at my local bookstore allready? I live in the Netherlands. I mean is it issued here in Europe allready.
Looks like a mighty interesting read annyway.
all the best,
Thunderbaas.
Thanks Herman for the info,I'll have a go at my bookstore today, ordered the "Ultimate Experience" there as well, took a month, but came round nicely in the end.
all the best,
Thunderbaas.
Just got the book - it's really good. As a fan of Jimi's pre-EXP career I knew chunks of the story, but there's intriguing new info everywhere. It definitely fills a gap in the Hendrix biography canon.
Some new interesting discographical details (though personally I do not hear a trace of Hendrix on the Mr Wiggles recordings), there's some early recordings held in private collections. When do we get to hear them, EH?
It also gives you an understanding of how much Jimi and his approach to playing and perhaps life was formed by the long years in the rnb scene.
There's some disquieting quotes from Fayne about Jimi's violent outbursts (well he was in a bad situation) and some juicy on the road stories.

Much more interesting than some of the other recent books that have come out...
I dont believe Jimi was burning guitars Pre London though.
Jimi is simply the Greatest of all time !
