Re: What are you listening to now ?

this super rare footage of the who at chicago stadium in 1975 just surfaced Aug 6th 2017!!

@Tim Scott - I recorded this onto a few 8-minute Super 8 sound film cartridges with my father's Bell & Howell movie camera. Having to change cartridges broke up the songs a bit. I spliced it all onto a large metal reel back in the day and just looked at that can for over 40 years. Chris Simondet urged me to have it converted to digital. I did, sent him a copy, and He took it from there. Ran out of film just after Keith jumps off of his drum kit. Glad someone is finally enjoying it after all these years!!

At the ten minute mark or so, Pete is playing the chords of Foxy Lady. What song is that?

Sounds like it's just an improv during the 'Underture' from the 'Tommy' 2lp....I don't recall any such sequence in the actual "Underture' in the album version.
to be honest I never heard Townshend even use those types of 9th chords.

OK...that's possible, the Who always were playing an abridged version of Tommy in those days....I know after that part it sounded like the chords to 'underture'.

It didn’t take long for Clark Jr. to decide to take on the project, as he’s a longtime Beatles fan.

“My mom had a huge crush on Paul McCartney,” he said. “‘I Want To Hold Your Hand’ was my introduction. ‘Come Together’ was a song I really loved growing up. ‘The White Album’ was my whole take on what music was, along with [Jimi] Hendrix and that whole era. I was really inspired by [the Beatles’] songwriting.”
