Listening to: "Goodbye to Romance," 2010/2011 remix from Blizzard of Ozz remaster.
For anyone who might be interested:
As far as I'm concerned, this track and the last (titled "RR," a tribute to/outtake of Randy Rhoads) are the only songs that are really listenable on the new CD. Everything else is mastered so effing loudly...it might not sound bad coming from a cheap stereo set, but I'll never be able to listen to (for example) "Crazy Train" through headphones. What I've listened to of the new Diary of a Madman remaster is the same - maybe worse.

He sounds much more multi-dimensional to me than most of the English guitarists of his generation. I respect his musicianship and his excellent production of their albums...his playing never sounds stale to me. It's all a matter of opinion/personal tase. That being said...as much as I love Jimi, Jimmy's my main man.
