Quite different from their first album (only other their album I have). Richard Thompson rocks!
I've been listening to Karsten's L.A. Forum '70 source 1 and 3 merge. Excellent job on that one! Other items in heavy rotation as of late:
Junior Wells (and Buddy Guy) - Hoodoo Man Blues 2011 Deluxe Re-Issue - A classic now better than ever.
Parliament/Funkadelic - Newberg Session - Definition of Funk!
Lee Dorsey - Yes We Can...And Then Some (found this out of print collection used on a recent trip to SF - I've wanted it for years).
Bleeding Heart - 24Feb.1969
Jordan's Complete Berkeley First show -![]()

The Bob Terry Tape #19, currently immortalized as "Zomby Blues"
Particulaly Track 3: Izabella (Machine Gun)
Great overdubs. I think it's the best studio version of Machine Gun out there,
unless someone can point me in a different direction.

Made my own Needle Drop from this one "Juggernaut - Frank Marino" Though he did a lot of Hendrix songs, which to my ears are nice but superfluous, this one stands out as a classic, also production wise. Allways used it to test new equipment/speakers etc.
Attachment 9502
Well Sharpstrat Marino sure could play, saw him live in Amsterdam(Paradiso) in 1982,and it was awsome,he tore the roof of completely, and did Red House there as well !!!!!
Makes me wonder if George Marino (The famous Masterer of numerous records incl. later Jimi issues), is related to Frank ?
Maybe someone can shed a light on this. ?
Thanks in advance

Hear My Train A Comin, Karsten's sync of the two best LA Forum 70 concert. Excellent work! Really outstanding. From what I read about a few fans reviews of the show, it really does sound like it was at the show. Loud guitar, good bass, lesser drums and vocals. Two very nice recordings, made even better by being matched up perfectly.
