    Adding attachments to posts

It appears some attachments are not working so I can only assume the correct procedure is not being followed. To save me having to copy and paste attachments and re post here is a quick guide.

Adding attachments is self-explanatory but any issues please ask.

Scroll down to Go advanced when posting with attachment (not quick reply)

Add (written) message and scroll down to and click ……………..
    Manage Attachment

Opens a new page, easy to follow to add attachment.
When you have added your attachment(s) click Done
Below Manage Attachment box click Submit reply.

It seems that this is the major problem causing all the un-openable attachment, at least I found out when I post them. The attachments only work in the advanced mode. I am not sure if everybody knows this.

Perhaps the attachment button in the quick reply box can be fixed? or simply deleted?

It appears the attachments have been wiped again. Even the newer attachments added since the first deleting of all the older attachments seem to be gone now.

    Re: Adding attachments to posts

    Hi moderators,
I'm trying to upload an audio torrent but when attempting to attach the torrent file I keep getting a pink exclamation point next to the file I'm attempting to upload.
As a test I tried attaching a jpg file and got the same error.
So basically I'm unable to attach a file to a new thread.
    Any advice?
I'm guessing this may have to do with some recent technical problems such as code showing up at the top of pages at CTT.
    Thanks!

I've got this thing ready to seed, T's crossed & I's dotted.
    Can't attach the torrent file?!
(!) something about DHT. Re-created the .torrent with DHT dis-abled, no diff, torrent won't stick.
    Please advise.
