    Re: How to upload?

OK - I'm the Mac Maniac who asked for the Philly shows. THANK YOU ALL sooo much ! ! ! I'm sure the info's here somewhere, but is there a quick link for instructions and/or a good pgm to do this on a Mac? I see UTorrent is a Win-doze pgm. (Just trying to start a play-fight w/ the community at large :-) NOT! Thanx 4 the help.
    Peace - Steve
I also have a DVD of the Stockholm 69 concert. Are there vid upload instructions? I'm sure I'm looking right at it. Thanx again.

    Re: How to upload?

    http://www.bittorrent.com/ has a mac client.

upload should be the same procedure for both audio & video.

    Re: How to upload?

Not only is Transmission the BEST but it now CREATES the torrents right in the pgm. I've been finalizing a Mac Thread for a couple days now. It'll be up soon.
THANX heyyo (I might have known)

As far as the 69 DVD, I just wanted 2 B sure it was the same version that was already up.
    THANK YOU

    Re: How to upload?

Tip: Be sure the torrent says seeding in your client before uploading here. It will be red but will turn green once you've downloaded from here and click to add trackers.

    Re: How to upload?

problem doing my very first upload.
I have created the DVD bittorrent with MakeTorrent exactly as directed. I've gone to video torrents>post new thread>manage attachments>add files>select files>select file> it shows uploading but but I get an error notice "upload failed". At that point I close out and discontinue. What can I do? I've retried making the bittorrent, and everything else several times.

Just did a test and upload worked for me. I may not be understanding the steps you take : (OS=Windows) ... After you 'post new thread' a window opens and you type in the torrent info. Then you clik on manage attachments (near bottom of new post window) and the attachment window opens. Then you clik on Add Files and a small window opens. Then you clik on 'Browse' and a computer window opens and you then navigate to your directory/folder and clik your .torrent file. Clik 'open' and the computer window closes. Clik 'Upload' in the manage attachment window and hopefully it will upload. If upload is successful Save the new post. Then open the post again and clik on the torrent as if you were grabbing any other torrent. Your client should open, download it. It should then 'see' your files and seeding should begin.

    Hope this helps.

hmmm ... it's a good bet your problem may be site-related and no fault of your own. As any frequent visitor to this site can tell you there has been a myriad of problems. Connectivity, tracker, attachments, etc. (refer to 'CTT Future' and relative topics). And the oddest issue of all, as far as I have experienced, is that all of these problems are not universally shared by everyone. So, ya rolls the dice and hope ...

    Re: How to upload?

I have the same problem, want to upload a torrent file but can't save it. Tried another browser but this doesn't work either. The manager doesn't seem to recognize the .torrent file as a file.

I use Utorrent v.2.2.1 what client are you using?
Are you 'creating and saving it to where the files are?

after creating I just 'edit' my post ....click on attachments

then I click on my torrent file.. in my post; it will open in Utorrent and start seeding.

    ----
This site does have problems from time to time....the main one being that attachemnts get deleted periodically(which is why I don't use attachment for images anymore)....just had some last night where the site wasn't found
    just keep trying I guess

    Re: How to upload?

Don't know if it will make any difference but here's Utorrent v.2.2.1
I stayed with this version because after this they started adding ads, etc.

Is it possible to rollback to this version without re-downloading all the torrents in my newer version?
