    Re: The Hendrix Auction Thread

Looks like this list has been on CTT for quite a while. Not sure how I missed it before. Glad I caught it this time. Assuming these weren't thrown away in estate sales of those who bought from the original estate many of these reels are probably out there somewhere....

it is mentioned in the download in the 'Mike Jeffery Estate' thread

the DVD has an insert pic. of Jimi playing the "V" at Berkeley.
Hmm, maybe I should have been more clear. Of course, two reels are auctioned, but I was wondering if this is the total amount of reels or if there were more. Thanks to your list of the Jefferey Estate, we now know there were some 30 reels with footage from Berkeley (boxes L-6, M-1 and M-2) . Two reels only contain audience footage. I wish the sellers of the two reels could tell more about the contents and whether the reels are from the Jefferey Estate or not. It is now very dubious. In the worst case you end up with two reels of audience footage . . .

To me it seems more like this is copy of the film as it may have been used in the Cinema in 1971. For years we have a short audience film of the 2nd show, but this was shot in 8mm.

$25,000 Reward Announced for BG-105 Jimi Hendrix Fillmore Auditorium 2/1/68 Concert Poster by Psychedelic Art Exchange

World record price offered for this Bill Graham BG-105 Jimi Hendrix Fillmore Auditorium 2/1/68 concert poster

World record prices offered for Jimi Hendrix concert posters.
PARK CITY, UTAH (PRWEB) JULY 15, 2017
A $25,000 reward has just been announced by Psychedelic Art Exchange for anyone that has an authentic, undamaged original first printing of the Bill Graham BG-105 Concert Poster. The concert poster promotes four days of performances by Jimi Hendrix that took place at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, California, on February 1,2,3, and 4 1966.
"We recently auctioned off a copy of the BG-105 concert poster that generated tremendous interest around the world," explained Scott Tilson of Psychedelic Art Exchange, the auction house offering the reward. "Now we have a few other collectors begging us for this important concert poster. We're hoping our $25,000 reward for an undamaged copy brings at least one seller out of the woodwork. Collectors need to know we would be thrilled to acquire this special poster in any condition and we're willing to pay a world record price to get it," explained Tilson.
The Bill Graham BG-105 Jimi Hendrix concert poster has special historical significance because it's considered the very finest poster ever created by the legendary artist, Rick Griffin. Just a few thousand original first printings were produced and just a small fraction of those are known to exist today.
If you have a Bill Graham BG-105 Jim Hendrix concert poster you wish to sell, or any other Jimi Hendrix concert posters, call Scott Tilson at 435-659-1660 or email Scott (at) http://concertpostergallery.com

Contract of Jimi selling the copyright of his songs to Yameta for 1 shilling

    http://www.sothebys.com/en/auctions/...60/lot.49.html

Jimi's PPX contract with Chalpin of Oct. 1965, for three years

Jimi's settlement agreement with Chalpin of June 1968

    http://www.sothebys.com/en/auctions/...60/lot.50.html

I guess the last two contracts must be coming from Chalpin himself (estimated at 200,000 and 40,000)

I would love to see the details of the agreement, but not at that price

I have a Pan Am ticket itinerary/receipt made out to Miss D. Wilson dated July 7, 1970 leaving JFK arriving Montego Bay, Jamaica.
I wonder if this was what Jimi refers to in his line ".....What did you bring me (from) your visit from the seas...."
