....I've never read anything definitive on the agreement Mike Jeffrey made with G&G over the filming of the Albert Hall shows. Did they get ANY money up front (or afterwards) for their film work? A cited source would be great!

see section 16 - mentions a contract dated Dec 12,1968 with Hendrix & Jeffery,
it's kind of a head ache to read...but has a lot of RAH stuff explained out.

Do a search on Goldstein elsewhere in these forums and I think you'll find (to put it as mildly as possible) that Goldstein has a horrible reputation when it comes to $$ and treatment of his artists. He managed Sly Stone for years and they still fight over $$ to this day. Sad, sad stuff.

Well said. The reason there is no Sly bonus material on the Woodstock 40th Blu-Ray is because of Goldstein.

If he's asking for a 50-50 profit split, or even 60-40, then I can see that it would certainly hold things up. At some stage, they've got to hammer out a deal.
I think it has been evoked here that Goldstein might be holding things up with Experience Hendrix while he waits for the outcome of the Sly Stone case. Any idea when Sly's appeal is coming to court?

Why do you think that is the issue? I never read anywhere before the post by J Lucas, that the splitting of profits from DVD sales
was the thing holding up the RAH release.

Janie of course neglected to mention the upcoming Dagger release (Live In Cologne), which would have been good news for the fans. I do like surprises but they really do have a public relations problem at EH.
