    Armel.
Do you know how to download torrents?
    You do, of course.
    Well, do it here, too.
Click on the torrent file link above and
when your torrent client (uTorrent or whatever client you use)
asks where to save the files you do the following thing:
The folder with the files you're torrenting is called "Last American Concert" and it is (for example) on your C hard drive.
When asked by the client where to download the torrent
you save it to C - that's all - the client will find "Last American Concert"
    folder by itself.
    Thanks for the upload.

I think the: "Rainbow Bridge Vibratory Color / Sound Experiment", Haleakala Volcano Crater, Maui, Hawaii is more complete, but can always use more Jimi!

Not sure how this version compares to the lineage:
Safety Master Reel > VHS > Tape > MD > WAV > FLAC

Re: Last American Concert Vol.1&2 (Maui, HI 30.07.70)

Into the clouds is a composite, to make a concert more complete.
It also boosts Jimi's talkinkg between songs. Uses the ATM soundboard version with Mitch's overdubbed drums and an audience source.
The concert is presented in most complete form.
Also includes some alternate versions from audience sources.
The Last American concert uses the same source (Soundboard with ovedubbed drums) but some tracks are incomplete or completely missing
(like Spanish Castle Magic). In any case, in the time of it's release it was the best source in general circulation (LPs in 1981 and CDs in 1990).

However, all these info you could easily found on HP's site by doing the word search.
    I'll do it for you.
    Here it is:

    # Last American Concert Vol.1 (The Swingin' Pig TSP 062 / 1990 / 1LP) ftbfs: B014
(Rainbow Bridge Vibratory Color / Sound Experiment, Haleakala Volcano Crater, Maui, HI 30.07.70 [1st Show - Sbd Source ])
    -
    # Last American Concert Vol.2 (The Swingin' Pig TSP 072 / 1990 / 1LP) ftbfs: B015
(Rainbow Bridge Vibratory Color / Sound Experiment, Haleakala Volcano Crater, Maui, HI 30.07.70 [2nd Show - Sbd Source ])

    Into the Clouds (JPIO 014-015 / 24.11.2001 / 2CDR)
(Rainbow Bridge Vibratory Color / Sound Experiment, Haleakala Volcano Crater, Maui, HI 30.07.70 [Complete 1st & 2nd Show + Alternate versions]; 71:40 / 79:57) Stereo Sbd & Aud Composite with Stereo Sbd & Aud Source filler: Stereo Sbd; 2nd Gen [from ATM 018-019 "Bridge To Haleakala" (Re-indexed & 2nd Show amplified) except 1st Show Intro lifted from "Rainbow Bridge 2" (ftbfs: B521)] / Aud; No Gen Info - In-between-song Chats amplified
    Disc 1: Intro by Chuck Wein; 4:03 / "Spanish Castle Magic" (47); 3:42 / "Lover Man" (38); 3:01 / "Hey Baby (New Rising Sun)" (7); 6:04 / "In From The Storm" (5); 4:38 / "Message To Love" (40); 4:53 / "Foxy Lady" (92); 5:08 / "Hear My Train A-Comin'" (50); 8:55 / "Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)" (82); 6:14 / Drums; 0:53 / "Fire" (77); 3:41 / "Purple Haze" (101); 4:29 / Intermission; 0:23 / "Dolly Dagger" (3); 5:13 / "Villanova Junction" (13); 5:21 / "Ezy Rider" (26); 4:52 /
    Disc 2: "Red House" (75); 6:43 / "Freedom" (23); 4:23 / "Jam Back At The House" aka. "Beginning" (10); 8:45 / "Straight Ahead" (6); 3:03 / "Hey Baby" (New Rising Sun)" (8); 2:50 / "Midnight Lightning" (17); 0:33 / "Race With The Devil" ( ); 1:23 / Drums; 2:46 / "Stone Free" (25) > "Hey Joe" (57) > "Stone Free" (25); 5:49 / Aud Source Filler: "Hey Baby" (7); 2:08 / "Hear My Train A-Comin'" (50); 8:41 / "Villanova Junction" (13); 5:31 / "Jam Back At The House" aka. "Beginning" (10); 8:36 / "Straight Ahead" (6); 3:05 / Unimproved Sbd Source Filler: "Jam Back At The House" aka. "Beginning" (10); 6:19 / "Straight Ahead" (6); 2:56 / "Hey Baby (New Rising Sun)" (8) > "Midnight Lightning" (17) > "Race With The Devil" ( ); 5:06 /
Unrelated filler: Ravi 'n Daughter on Conan O'Brian 01.11.01 [No Hendrix Involvement] - 1:11
    notes:
    - There's also a 3CD version of the Maui-material in circulation as "Into the Clouds". The 3CD-set is based on this set, but is edited differently and also replaces some of the material with material lifted from alternate sources. The same 3CD version is also in circulation as "The Rainbow Bridge Experiment", which in turn - with the tracks re-shuffled once more - also circulates as a 2CD set. To make the confusion complete, the 2CD version of "The Rainbow Bridge Experiment" is also in circulation as "Into the Clouds" ...(!)
    - An upgraded version of this set (24.07.2008) substitutes Disc 1, track 4 - "Hey Baby (New Rising Sun"" (7) from the 1st Show - with the complete and slightly longer version of the track from the Audience source without voice-over (6:19). This does of course also makes the disc slightly longer, so the upgraded version of Disc 1 clocks in at 71:55.

Thnx Emil ( and Paul56)- I like it when H-P site has words like "To make the confusion complete..." - That is why I ask and prefer answers like yours and others because your answers help to remove the confusion for peoples like myself that are new to Jimi collecting.

    What do the numbers in parenthesis mean, e.g. "4:03 / "Spanish Castle Magic" (47);

    Thnx again!

    OK, for example.
    "Disc 1: Intro by Chuck Wein; 4:03 / "Spanish Castle Magic" (47); 3:42 / "

Disc 1 - no explanation needed about what it means, I hope
Intro by Chuck Wein - track 1
4:03 - track is 4 minutes and 03 seconds long
/ - divides information between tracks because HP lists them linearly and not vertically to save space
"Spanich Castle Magic" - title of the track 02, it's in ".." because it's not just a track but also a title of a Jimi's song
    (47) - number from the book "From the Benjamin Franklin Studios"(ftbfs) by Jimi Hendrix fanzine "Jimpress" that lists all Jimi Hendrix songs in circulaltion and gives to each one of them it's own number. Numbers are given usually as the recordings are found. Number 47 means (usually, again), that this version of the song was listed as 47th version of Spanish Castle Magic.
3:42 - track (not song) is 3 minutes and 42 seconds long.

So, this means the 47th time Jimi played this song live?
